Hey guys, it's no secret, I love my iPhone. So today I thought I would share my favourite apps with you; hope you enjoy and maybe even download them!
    *In no particular order

    Cloth
The first app is, of course, a fashion app. You can upload pictures of outfits you like, and 'cloth' will keep them organised for you. This way, when you're in a rush or just out of ideas, you already have a selection of fashionable outfits waiting for you!

    BuzzFeed
I hate to admit it, but I fricking love this app. First of all, I'm a sucker for BuzzFeed quizzes. Whenever I have nothing to do, I will open up the quiz section and just go crazy. I also really like that you can customise the app to your preferences, so all the articles that appear in your feed are things you actually want to read.

    Instagram
Instagram has got to be my favourite social media (maybe after tumblr, but their app has some improving to do). I love being able to share photos so that my friends can see them and also so that I have a place to look back on. I also really like seeing other people's photos, so I can see what my friends are up to. Instagram just always seems to put me in a better mood.

    Snapseed
I have almost 20 apps dedicated to editing photos (yes I know, I'm crazy) and lately 'snapseed' has been my favourite. I love the 'tune image' function because it makes it super easy and quick to adjust things like brightness, contrast, shadows, saturation, etc.

    8tracks
Last but not least, a music app. I actually prefer this to other music apps for two reasons. First of all, it's free. But also, I really love that you can search up a genre, or an activity, or a mood or anything of the sort, and 8tracks will provide you with a variety of different playlists created by other users. I really love this because if I'm studying or something, and I don't want to think about what music to play, I can just search up something like "studying, acoustic, chill", choose a playlist, and enjoy.

    6:03 PM
    Hey there!
So, I know that I don't have any followers, so there's not really anybody to apologise to, but I'm going to do it anyway. Sunday I didn't post anything, and I feel really bad about it! It's the first time I missed an upload, and I really don't know how but I completely forgot to write anything. Anyway, I promise it's not going to happen again.

As you probably guessed from the title, today I have a drug store haul! But, since I'm a little sneaky, I've also thrown in some candles and some other little things.

The first thing I bought from the drugstore was something that I really wanted, a Kylie Jenner inspired lipstick. I really love Kylie's look and her lips have been everywhere lately! I bought the 'Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm' in 225 'Sultry Sulfureuse'. It's not exactly like what Kylie usually wears, but it's pretty similar and anyway it's a great colour for autumn. I also really love the revlon colorburst matte balms in general (I already have another one) because they're really pigmented, easy to apply, and, as an added bonus, they smell like mint.

I don't know why but it looks much pinker in the picture!

While looking for a good autumn lip, I came across this little gem. It's the Rimmel 'by Kate' lipstick in 03, and it's an adorable nude lip. It's a really nice, beige nude colour with pink undertones and I just think it's really wearable and flattering. I also know that I love the formula because I already have a Rimmel lipstick by Kate in the shade 112.

The last two lip products I bought go hand in hand and it's two 'baby lips'. I really like baby lips because I just think they're an easy thing to wear especially when you're in a hurry but you still want to make an effort. The first one I bought is I think my all time favourite and a real classic in the colour 'Cherry Me'. The second one is much more exciting. It's from the new 'electro' line and it's a bright orange ('Oh! Orange!'). I was really intrigued by it because I wanted to see how it would look, and also because, let's face it, it's very halloween-y. I've already tried it and I really like it because it leaves a sheer orang-y glow to your lips and it smells like oranges.

Something that I was really excited to buy was the Maybelline 'Falsies' mascara. I have heard so many wonderful reviews, and I finally got it! I haven't been using it long enough to form a review yet, but so far so good.

Same goes for the L'Oreal 'Super Liner'. I've been looking for a good eyeliner for a long time, and I heard some really good things about this one. I'm really excited to try it out and see how I get along with it.

Candles. Candles. Lord knows I have a weakness for candles. I recently discovered a Yankee Candle store not too far from my house, which means bye bye savings. So far I've limited my purchases to this Black Coconut scented heaven. This is a repurchase for me, and I'm not kidding, it has to be the best smelling thing to have ever been created. I'm not a massive coconut person, but this is different. I don't even know how to describe it, it's like warm coconut so it's not really a summer scent. It's more of like a comforting autumn scent mixed with some summer nostalgia. This isn't even making any sense, point is, go out and buy it.

I also went to IKEA recently, and, as any normal person would, I bought some candles. These candles were amazingly cheap and they smell so good. They're vanilla ice cream scented and honestly I think that says it all. Do you need another reason to go and buy them?

From IKEA I also bought these two fake plants and some pots for them. I didn't know I could be this excited about fake plants, but I am! Before finding these I was unsure about the whole 'plant' thing, because I really like the way plants liven up a room but they die and they're messy and often expensive. However I was worried that fake plants would look completely fake and ugly. The ones I found were really cheap and they look so real! They make such a difference in my room and I really fricking love them. The pots are also adorable and they were only 99 cents each.

    9:49 PM
Hey guys, so today is going to be a tag because I totally forgot it was thursday and so I didn't have a post planned. Anyway, these seem like fun questions, so let's do this!

    1) You have to get rid of all your foundations and can only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?
I don't really have a favourite foundations, so I would probably choose my Maybelline BB cream, because it's lighter on the skin and more moisturising.

    2) You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?
This is a hard question. If I had lipstick on my teeth, I would want somebody to tell me, but at the same time I'm not a bold person so I probably wouldn't feel right saying anything. I wouldn't want to embarrass the lady.

    4) You go back in time to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?
Well I am in my teenage years, but I'm sure that in the future I'm going to look back and wish to change many things, haha!

    5) You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut, but they hear wrong and give you a pixi cut. Do you a) Smile, say thank you, leave and call your mum hysterical b) Cry in the chair and things get awkward or c) Complain to the manager and demand a refund.
Oh God! Just reading this question makes me tense up, how I would hate it! Again, I'm not a bold person, so I doubt I would complain. I hope I wouldn't start crying, because that would be embarrassing, but there's a chance. I think the thing I would most likely do is hysterically call my mom, and maybe have her call the manager. I would definitely not go back to that hair salon though!

    6) Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which 'do it all' palette do you pack in your makeup bag?
I don't really have a 'do it all' palette, so I guess I would be in real trouble!

    7) Your house has been robbed, don't worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?
Probably my Tanya Burr lipgloss in 'Picnic in the Park', just because I'm really attached to it. I'm so proud of Tanya and she's such an inspiration, I would hate to lose that, even though I know I could buy it again.

    8) Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you a) Just pretend you haven't noticed b) Ask them to repurchase it or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs
This honestly depends on the friend for me, but in most cases I would probably just confront them and say something about it. I wouldn't really ask them to repurchase it unless they really ruined it or it was something expensive/important.

    'So White' bath bomb

'Star Light, Star Bright' Bath melt

    'Dorothy' bubble bar

    'Luxury LUSH Pud' bath bomb

I don't think I've ever mentioned this, but I love lush! I don't go there often because it is quite expensive, but during autumn/ christmas time I make some exceptions because, let's face it, who can resist a good lush bath during the colder months?
I only bought bath products this time, some of which I've never tried and some old favourites. So here's what I got:

    'So White'
A white fizzling and bubbling bath bomb, with a surprising pink interior and a calming scent of apple.

    'Star Light, Star Bright'
A real glittery gem that creates a turquoise and sparkle bath. It leaves your skin feeling super soft, super bright and smelling like zesty ginger and soft lavender.

    'Dorothy'
An adorable and bubbly 'Wizard of Oz' themed bubble bar, designed to fill your bath with bubbles and an amazing floral scent.

    'Luxury LUSH Pud'
a relaxing, colourful, lavander scented bath bomb and a personal winter favourite.

Regret is one of the worst feelings, I know from experience. Which is why this week I want to challenge you, whoever you are, to say 'yes' to an opportunity you would other wise turn down. Don't be afraid to take chances because yes, it might go wrong, but it might also turn out amazing. Step out of your comfort zone and do more, so that you won't be left asking yourself 'what if?'.

I saw another blogger do this tag a couple of days ago, and I decided to give it a try. Hope you enjoy!

#1: If you could fall for any of your eyebrows, which one would it be?
I don't really like either of my eyebrows much, but probably the left one.

#2: If any celebrity could fall for you, which one would it be?
I don't really have a celebrity crush at the moment which is quite weird for me, so I don't really know.

#3: If you could fall and land anywhere in the world, where would it be?
New York City, because I've been quite stressed lately and I would love to be  back home.

#4: If you could fall into a jukebox and listen to only one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This question is really hard because music is something that depends on mood for me, but probably something by mumford and sons, or something acoustic anyway.

#5: If you could fall into any movie, what movie would it be?
Probably a Disney movie, so I could finally get a 'happy ever after' ending.

#6: If you could fall back in time, where would you fall back to?
This is really hard because I think any time would have something amazing to offer, but I would probably choose to go to a time before technology, to see how people got along.

#7: If you could fall and hit your head and lose one memory, what memory would it be?
I wouldn't really want to lose any memory, because I think you learn a little bit from everything you do. However if I had to choose, I would probably get rid of a time when I said something mean to someone or viceversa.

#8: If you could fall into any season and stay there year round, what season would it be?
Probably summer, because even though I can't stand the heat, summer is the happiest season. You're free during summer.

#9: If you were going to fall into trouble, what would it most likely be?
Either lying or not doing something probably

#10: If you were to fall into 1 million pounds and could only spend it in one store, what store would it be?
I think urban outfitters, because I really like their clothes but they also sell nice accessorises and makeup.

    8:58 PM

I'm not a cook. In fact I can barely cook, but I really like it. A couple of nights ago I invited two of my friends over for dinner, and decided to cook something healthy for them. Since it was actually really easy and quite good, I decided to share it. Hope you enjoy and maybe even decide to make this yourself!

    Ingredients:

    1. Turkey breasts
    2. Green beans
    3. Cherry tomatoes
    4. Bacon
    5. Croutons
    6. Garlic
    7. Salt
    8. Olive oil
    9. Spices of your choosing
    How to Prepare it:

First thing first, let's set the mood. Put on some Christmas music and light some candles and let's get this going!

Start by sautéing garlic by placing it in a pan with hot oil for a while. In the mean time cut up your turkey breast into smaller pieces, and when you're done, add that to the pan. Season your chicken with the salt and the spices of your liking.

While the turkey is cooking, cut off the tips of the green beans and throw them away. Wash your beans, and then place them in a pot of boiling water and salt. Leave those to cook for about 10 minutes.

The turkey should be cooking nicely now, so you can go ahead and turn it over. This is also a good time to add your bacon bits to the pan so they can cook as well. While everything is on the stove, go ahead and cut up your cherry tomatoes. I honestly like them cut in fourths, but you can do that however you prefer.

Once your green beans are soft and your turkey is a nice golden brown, you're ready to plate! I put the greens as a base, put the tomatoes over, the meat as the top layer, and then sprinkled some croutons as a finishing touch. The only thing left now is to add your dressing, I put a bit of salt, olive oil and some lemon, but you can add whatever you like.

As you saw it was super easy but I really like it because it's quick, yummy, and really pretty and colourful to look at!

    7:15 PM

    Hey guys!
So it's been about a month since school has started, which means that I am already feeling extremely unmotivated. I hate feeling this way, yet every year it happens. I personally just think that the modern school system isn't well organised, and that students are forced to study things they're not interested in. I obviously understand why we need to know these subjects and stuff, but at the same time, I find it really hard to spend my free time studying things I have no interest in.

Just this afternoon, as I was studying science, a subject I really dislike and know for a fact that will not be part of my future career, I started wondering why. Why am I doing this? Why am I spending my free time reading about this? Because I have to? No. I'm 16 now, if I wanted to quit school, I could. So, why?

The main reason is probably that I know it will help me. I know that if I want to succeed in life I have to get a good education (I know this is not the case for everybody, but it is for most people). I have to spend, even 'waste' if you want, all these years studying things I don't care about, so that in the future I can do what I love.

When I was little my mom always used to tell me that works comes before play. Not necessarily because it's right, but just because of how the world works. If you want something, you have to work for it. I agree with that. You have to endure some bad things in order to reach the good ones, and along the way you're probably going to learn and see many amazing things, so you shouldn't even complain.

First off all, I would like to apologise for the photos. I like taking my own photos rather than taking them from a website, but, I'm not gonna make excuses, today I just procrastinated too much and lost the light. I promise that next time, the photos will be my own. Sorry!

Now that we got that out of the way, welcome to my non-beauty September favourites! My last blog post (x) was my beauty favourites, and I decided that it was so much fun to write that I wanted to dedicate a whole other post on random things I've been loving. So let's get started!

    H&M Basic T-Shirts

I've always loved H&M, but these two simple shirts have changed my life. They're very staple pieces, but I think that they're amazing. They're extremely flattering and have really nice detail, like the rolled sleeves, the breast pocket and the twisted collar. I've been wearing them loads, either with jeans (on a casual lazy day) or tucked into skirts or printed pants or even just paired with a statement necklace. I think they're something everybody should have in their closet, and they're also really soft and cheap!

    Brandy 'Remi' Short

This is a more "summer" favourite, but I've actually been wearing them loads in september as well. I really love Brandy Melville because their clothing is simple, soft, and flattering. I bought these shorts in July and they have been my go-to shorts ever since. I love printed shorts, but they can sometimes be too bold. I think these are the perfect mix between stylish and casual, and I can easily dress them up or down. The only downside is that they're quite short and I can't wear them to school.

    2 Broke Girls

This month I started watching '2 Broke Girls' and I've absolutely fallen in love with it. It has become a sleepover essential for me and my best friend because it's easy to watch, it's super funny and also relatable in some ways. The show is about two young girls, with no money, who unlikely become friends and try to earn money and start their own business together. It's an amazing comedy full of hilarious puns that will actually make you laugh out loud, and I think that's rare when it comes to tv. I would 100% recommend it.

    Dancing With The Stars

Another show I've been loving is 'DWTS'. I'd never watched it before this month, and actually only started because Bethany Mota is participating. However I've actually really began to like the show! It's extremely entertaining and fun, and it shows us a whole other side of celebrities.

    Moustache Drinking Jar

This might be the most random favourite, but it needs to be included! I've been absolutely loving this little jar because it's been helping me stay hydrated. Drinking water is really good for the skin and for the body, and it's something I've wanted to start doing more of for a while now. I love this jar because it keeps more water than a regular glass and it has a fun little straw. I keep it next to my bed 24/7 so I can always have access to fresh drinking water.

It's time for my first ever favourites and I am so EXCITED!!
I know everybody always says this, but September went by so quickly. I can't believe that it has already been a month since summer ended, but I'm really excited for autumn; so let's do this!

    Garnier 'Pure Active' Concealer:

Up until last year I was a self proclaimed 'Garnier snob'. I was sure that it was purely a hair brand and that it couldn't branch out and do makeup. Damn it I was wrong! I have recently been loving some Garnier beauty in my life, including this concealer. I like it because it is specifically targeted towards spots. I don't know if it's actually doing anything to prevent them, as it claims, but it does a good job at covering them. It's very thin and lightweight, so it doesn't feel or look caky, but it has a good coverage. The only downside is that it's available in only one shade, medium, which works for my skin tone but not for many others. I really think that's something they have to improve on.

    L'OREAL 'Lumi Magique' Highlighting Pen:

I know this product has been raved about again and again (by me included- x) but it deserves it. I won't go on about it too much, but it's wonderful to brighten up the under eye area. I have used it every morning this month to get a rested and awake look, and it works spectacularly.

    ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer:

I bought this Elf eyeshadow primer this summer after my friend recommended it to me. I wasn't really expecting much because it was only $3 dollars, but it's actually a really good primer! I have extremely oily lids, and this helps my eyeshadow not crease. Thanks to this primer, I've been feeling more confident about applying eyeshadow in the morning before school because I know it will last until the afternoon.

    MAC Eyeshadow in 'Quarry':

And to put on top of the primer, I've been loving this eyeshadow. I've also already talked about this product, so again, I won't go into too much depth. It's a wonderful purply neutral colour that's great on its own or paired with other eyeshadows. This month I've mostly used it by itself, because I'm always in a rush, and I love it because it's pigmented and doesn't have fallout.

Old Williamsburgh Candle in 'Country Dreams':

Last, but not least, a candle. This candle was a present from my mom, and it's the candle I've used the most throughout the whole month. It has a very light sent of flowers with a hint of clean, and I find it extremely relaxing. On the packaging it's described as "soft floral notes of gardenia sweetened by the sun", and though I don't know about the sun part, I can completely agree with the soft floral notes. I've also fallen in love with the packaging, which is a mini mason jar!
