Don't get me wrong, I love autumn. Snuggling under a cozy blanket, drinking hot chocolate, watching old disney movies, layering sweaters, spice scented candles, crunchy leaves. All those glorious little things. However, I'm having a really hard time letting go of summer. These few months of relaxation have been holy and I'm not looking forward to giving them up and starting school again.

This year I've had the best holidays and I think it's better to think back to the memories I've made rather than the upcoming school year.  So here are my summer highlights:

1. Going back to New York City to visit all of my friends
2. Going shopping with friends who love fashion
3. Going for brunch
4. Having a picnic in the park
5. Seeing an old friend and showing them your hometown
6. Playing tourist
7. Keeping traditions alive: going to the beautiful island of Sardinia with my best friend for the 8th year in a row
8. Eating an ice cream everyday on the beach (not particularly healthy but very delicious!)
9. Dressing up as giraffes 
10. Relaxing a couple of days in your home town, chilling in bed and surfing the web
11. Taking a 23 hour boat ride to Greece with friends and family
12. Sleeping outside on the boat with all the wind 
13. Watching shooting stars 
14. Going to the beach every night with friends you haven't seen in a while and talking about life, while watching the stars and listening to good music
15. Making new friends
16. Helping a stray puppy
17. Going back home and realising all the good things you have in life
